How To Loose Postpartum Belly Fast
1. Exercise
Exercising is the most important thing that you must do to get your pre baby body back.
After giving birth to my son, I allowed my body to heal for 40 days. Then, I started going to the gym! My partner is a former NFL player and he was my trainer. It was great to have his help because it pushed me to work harder and be consistent.
When you have a baby it’s hard to make time for yourself but it’s important that you do it if you want to see change. If you can’t go to the gym, do home workouts.
I know it can be hard to get into a routine and be consistent but I have a little secret…..
If you just don’t like working out, you don’t have to do it for long just try your best for the first few weeks just to strengthen your core and get it back to how it was before the baby. That’s what I did, and I feel like it really helped but I also use a belly wrap and the skin tightening products mentioned below.
2. Use These Skin Tightening Products
After you deliver your little one your skin can become loose since it stretched so much for 9 months. I would highly recommend taking care of your skin just as much as trying to loose the baby weight. It’s crucial because if you loose the baby weight but you don’t tighten the skin you’re still going to have all this loose skin.
I started using the products below the day I delivered my baby, they tighten, lift and firm the skin. I believe these products are a huge part of the reason why I was able to get my pre baby body back so fast. I used them daily, I was consistent and I definitely recommend them to all new moms.
The skin tightening cream is used as an overnight treatment or during your workout. I liked to use it during my workouts because not only does it tighten, it also makes you sweat like crazy. I would also sometimes apply it under the belly wrap.
The body butter is used in the morning and the oil is used throughout the day. These products are 100% natural. They don’t contain any chemicals of any kind which is amazing because if you just had a baby, you’re probably breastfeeding and it’s probably best you don’t put chemicals on your skin.
3. Support Belt
This is a 3 in 1 Recovery Support Belt that you absolutely NEED after you have a baby. I wore this belt for 6 weeks and only removed it for a few minutes throughout the day to rest.
I really love this belt because you can make it as tight as you want. It will help you shift all your organs back into place. Throughout the 6 weeks you’ll notice your stomach getting tighter and tighter.
I slowly reduced the amount of time that I would wear it for, until I felt I no longer needed it.
4. Eat healthy
You really have to let go of junk food if you want to succeed in this journey. You also have to eat the right foods to get proper nutrition.
It’s very hard to let go of all the goodies but you’ll be glad you did when you start to see and feel the results. Eating healthy will also benefit your child if you’re breastfeeding.
If you’re not breastfeeding, just do it for YOU.
5. Breastfeeding/ Pumping
Did you know that breastfeeding and pumping burns calories?
That’s right! I couldn’t believe it either but you burn hundreds depending on how much you are breastfeeding. On average you can burn an extra 200-500 calories a day.
I used to breastfeed + pump and save a ton of milk in the freezer.
Pumping was very time consuming though, so I always used this electric breast pump that would do all the work for me. I was luckily producing a lot of milk so I was breastfeeding on one side and pumping the other side every few hours. I tried a few pumps honestly and this one is my favorite one so I do recommend it. I was still able to get my work done and do my chores while pumping, love it.
Tips For Faster Results
It’s not easy to get back to how your body was pre pregnancy. But know that if you set goals, make time and really push yourself. Then, you can accomplish anything!
Here are a few more tips you can follow for even faster results!
1. Have a set time for the gym and focus on stomach workouts.
2. If you don’t buy it, you don’t eat it. So don’t buy junk!
3. If you can, breastfeed/pump exclusively.
4. Use the skin tightening products when you wake up, before bed and throughout the day.
5. The belly band can be uncomfortable but wear it as much as you can, especially in the beginning.
6. BE CONSISTENT.
Truth is, you won’t see results unless you’re consistent. So just do it!
Good luck!

Great tips for pregnant women everywhere. Perhaps when you mentioned a product you were using you can provide a link to where it can be purchased. It would even work for you if you were an affiliate marketer for that product. You can make money from each of the products you link to if your visitor were to purchase it from a link on your website.
Vanessa Alvarez says
Wow thank you so much! I thought I did add a link to amazon but i’m not sure what went wrong. I just fixed it! Thank you again, I wouldn’t have known if you didn’t tell me ❤️

After my first two babies, I bounced back within a week! I thought it was so easy. Then every baby after that took soooo much longer. I guess it was easier because I was younger.
Britt | Shed Happens (@ShedHappenscmty) says
Great inspiration. I haven’t had a baby, but have always found it interesting how some people can bounce back so easily, while it’s much more challenging for others. However, if having that pre-baby body back is important to you, anyone can do it. You just have to dedicate yourself, put in the effort and refuse to settle for less! In that sense, it’s really no different from those who are looking to lose weight that was put on for any other reason – even if it’s just that you let yourself go.
